About Bruce Allen Propst
An experienced teacher committed to community service, Bruce Allen Propst most recently taught first through fourth grade at Loudoun County Public Schools in Leesburg, Virginia. Before that, he instructed students at Berkeley County Schools and Morgan County Schools, both located in West Virginia. In his capacity as an educator, Bruce Allen Propst developed and delivered lessons, evaluated curriculum, and supervised other teachers. Further, he stayed current with modern advances in elementary education by attending state conferences.
Also active in his broader community, Mr. Propst helped establish the AIDS Network of the Tri-State Area (ANTS) as a founding board member. In his ongoing involvement with ANTS, he attends meetings, trains volunteers, and provides direct assistance to patients in need. He also contributes to other health-related not-for-profits, such as the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
To prepare for his teaching career, Mr. Propst earned his master of education in curriculum and instruction from West Virginia University as well as his bachelor's in elementary education from Shepherd College.
